The Silver City Sufi Circle

People drawn to the path of Sufism are converging on Silver City and its surrounds to— in the words of Murshid Samuel Lewis—eat, dance and pray together. We come from several different Sufi orders, and some of us are independent of any formal group. We share a common vision of Unity and the desire for harmony in the world and among ourselves. Silver City is rich in spiritual and cultural activities, such as Dances of Universal Peace, Zikr, classes, a wide variety of music, theatre and other cultural events. The vast surrounding area of Southwest New Mexico is replete with unique biotic zones and wilderness habitats. The calendar, events and links pages point to the places and times where the seeker of spirit, culture and nature will find plenty of opportunity for growth and enjoyment.
